Hello,
I downloaded the 7_Series_XPE_14_1.xlsm file from the web page (http://www.xilinx.com/products/technology/power/in
What is the password?
Maybe is it a preliminary version?
Thanks,
Zsolt

I just downloaded the file to make sure that something had gone wrong and I don't see any issues.
This Excel power estimator spreadsheet, like all of the others that preceded it, does have a password to prevent modifications to the underlying data, formats and algorithms. There is no password needed to be able to use the tool as it is intended to be used.

Thanks for the quick answer.
Unfortunatelly, i can't open it - I am using Excel 2003, maybe that is the problem.
Opening other XPE is OK (eg: Virtex5_Virtex6_XPE_14_1.xls).

After checking with the developers, yes the Excel 2003 is the problem as the XLSM format is for Excel 2007. There will be an additional release with an XLS format that will work with Excel 2003, but the release date hasn't been finalized yet.

An additional version with support for 2003 is now available for download.
