Hi,

  Can anybody tell me tht whr can i get the total gate count in xilix sysnthesis tool. because in earlier version i use to get in implimentation report but now i have loaded the version 10.1. so in this version whr can i get the total gate count for tht project

Nagesh,

Check the Design Summary part of your map report (not synthesis report).  You should see something that looks like this:

Total equivalent gate count for design: x,xxx

i m happy atleast some body replied,

  But the problem is tht i m not getting any term likr total equivalent gate count in map report.

earlier i use to get likr tht term in version lower thn 10.1. please find out the some term in version 10.1

i think it was removed from later versions due to complexity but may be there is an option to show it. im checking the manuals to find 2 map reports (one with equivalent gate and the other empty).

if you found the no of equivalent gates for ISE 10.1 please don't be shy to tell us how becaues i really need it 2
