new to ISE & VHDL ----pls help

hi,
I have just started VHDL for my comp archi project.
I have downloaded the ISE and installed and getting the "IMPACT" started.
Pls suggest me what to do next, where to write the code and what options to select once i start the impact.
If there is any guide or user help manual pls let me know

the tutorial talks about project navigator, but when i downlaoded the webpack, thers no project navigator stuff installed.
pls suggest wher to find that.

i m using windowsXP,
but i selected the correct version while downloading.
i downlaoded the complete webpack zip file and installed it.
but i find that only impact is installed.
project navigator is missing.
i fear that i have not downlaoded the navigator related stuff.

Hello,
Go to start ==> Run ==> ise.exe
See if you launch Project Navigator.

no ... could not.
mesg says 'windows cannot find ise.exe'

Looks like Project Navigator has not been installed correctly.
Make sure that you dont have anything installed other than Impact in "Start ==> Programs ==> ISE Design Suite ==> Accessories."
If so reinstall ISE webpack.

project navigator was not installed correctly.
i downloaded the whole zip file again and installed, its done now.
