I am trying to add some PRE_EMPHASIS on a Kintex 7 aurora design (KC705), howevr I can not tell the difference between the TXPOSTCURSOR and TXPRECURSOR attributes.
Can someone explain the difference and which one (or both) I should adjust to increase the signal strength down my aurora link.
Both TXPOSTCURSOR and TXPRECURSOR attributes work on the data transitions. if you need to increase the signal strength (amplitude) you need to change TXDIFFCTRL setting.
