Problem with unused tx in a gtp tile

If I only use the RX port in a gtp tile, what should I do with the unused TX pin? Leave it floating or keep it grounding?

Re: Problem with unused tx in a gtp tile

I use  the  XC5VLX30T device.

My board  uses gtp tiles to transmit data and do not need to receive data now. But  I am not sure if  receiving data function is added in the future. So,  the  MGTRXP/MGTRXN pins of the gtp MUST be tied to ground?

Re: Problem with unused tx in a gtp tile

In our Virtex-5 board, the unused MGTRXP/MGTRXN pins are all tied directly to ground, which seems to be the right thing.

If not using the pins you have to connect it to ground.......
