Encrypted 3rd party IP targeting Xilinx still gets ignored by PlanAhead. 

This was documented back in 2009 as a known issue (http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx11/PlanAhead_Release_Notes_11_3.pdf), but was removed from subsequent issues list even though the problem still exists.

With PlanAhead Xilinx's main front-to-backend tool these days, this issue would seem to become fairly significant for 3rd party IP vendors and their customers since they can't protect IP without breaking PlanAhead.

Does anyone know of any work arounds?

I believe this will be supported in Vivado(tm), as soon as the IEEE standard is approved:

Can't really support a standard, until it is one.  I am sure if I am mistaken, someone will correct me!
