Hello.
I am using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS kernel 2.6.32-28-genereic x86_64.
I try to launch fpga_editor and I get the following errors when launching the application:
/home/gg/xilinx/ISE_DS/ISE/bin/lin64/_fpga_editor: Symbol `_XtperDisplayList' causes overflow in R_X86_64_PC32 relocation
/home/gg/xilinx/ISE_DS/ISE/bin/lin64/_fpga_editor: Symbol `_XtGetPerDisplayInput' causes overflow in R_X86_64_PC32 relocation
I have followed the advice posted on : http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/22022.htm
echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
/home/gg/xilinx/ISE_DS/common/lib/lin64:/home/gg/x
Also, if I start ise application and try to open the fpga_editor from it, the fpga_editor will open.
However, when I lock Tools/"Directed router constraint", the fpga_editor crashes with no errors.
How can I debug this ?? What am I doing wrong ?
Thanks

Ubuntu is not one of the supported OS for ISE tools. No software testing has been done on Ubuntu.
Can you try running this on a supported OS see if Fpga_editor crashes.
