Hi,
I am trying to use Coregen to create a GTX setup for the SD-SDI Protocol. There is no option to choose
this protocol using Coregen. How would I create a GTX for SD-SDI.
Thank You,
Gary

Gary,
Which FPGA family with "'GTX"' transceiver - V5 FXT/TXT, V6 or K7/V7?
From a practical perspective, the difference may be important in terms of what is/will be available.
For example, for V6, I would start here instead of CoreGen's ArchWiz
http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/applic
This is a much better starting point for multple reasons.
Cheers,
bt

Hi Barriet,
I am using the fx130t chip (Virtex 5) same as the ML510 board. It seems that the SD-SDI might be slow for the GTX interface
because I don't see how to select it.
Thank You,
Gary

I should have also mentioned that this V6 SDI GTX app note was later updated & integrated into CoreGen delivery flow.
In 14.1, you'll find a "Triple Rate SDI" core in CoreGen under Video & Image Processing.

For V5, I would start here:
http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/applic
Chapter 4 for GTX SDI.
Note that there is also an associated set of design files here for this app note. There should be a link in the app note. i think you'll find this a much better starting point than CoreGen Arch Wiz... ;)
