Xilinx Design Suite 14.1

Can I know when is Xilinx 14.1 will be released??

And also it is heard that ISE will then be no longer available,same all other tool needs to be invoked from Plan ahead only.

If so by doing this Can I know what is the main intention behind this???

I doubt Xilinx have a specific release date locked in yet. Over the last year or so they've been releasing a new version of ISE approximately every three months, with some variation. They're continually adding new features and fixing bugs, and they only release when they judge the software is ready for main stream use. I guess 14.1 will be out around April, but that could easily be wrong. If you urgently need a feature that will be released in 14.1 then you should contact your local FAE - they may be able to provide you with early access to a beta version.

There's no need to worry about the changes scheduled for after the ISE 14 series - there'll be a branding change and a high level rearchitecture to bring the total functionality inside a smaller number of front end applications, but the same functionality will still be available - plus some new functionality of course.
