I am running Linux on a simple Microblaze system with AXI Ethernet on a ML605 dev board. Everything runs fine if I use the GMII interface however, when I switch to SGMII, on the Ethernet core configuration, Linux boots and the PHY gets configured (PHY: c04dab34:07 - Link is Up - 1000/Full) but it does not respond to ping (Destination Unreachable).
I have set the correct jumpers for the Marvell PHY as indicated in the ML605 HW User guide and used the UCF constraints from AR 42753, so I guess it's not an implementation problem but a driver one. Does the AXI Ethernet driver support SGMII natively, or does it need additional modifications?
Any suggestions are welcome.
