Hi All,
I am implementing an MPMC controller on a spartan 6 FPGA. What is the maximum clocking frequency which the MPMC can support as I couldn't find any documentation.
kind regards,
bouvett

The maximum frequency depends on the type of exernal memory you use, and possibly
also on the speed grade of your FPGA. There is more information in the MIG user's guide.
MIG is the underlying memory interface used by the MPMC.

Hello Gabor,
I am working on Spartan-6 SP601 eval board. I m working on DDR2 interface via NPI. As i want to achieve max. throughput as i can. What maximum freq. can i give to MPMC to run properly?? In MPMC datasheet permissible Memory clk period is given but for MPMC it is given as system clk freq., in numerical terms it is not given.
Thanks in advance for your reply,
Vivek
