I am currently researching how I can interface with a DDR/DDR2/DDR3 SDRAM with a XILINX FPGA (Spartan 3e or 6).
Now I know that there are some documentation available on the XILINX website, including the guide for the MIG and also the Datasheet of the MPMC. These are informative though I think they lack what exactly beginners like me are searching which is basically examples of how to actually interface with such controllers say via a MicroBlaze microcontroller.
Also, a list of c/c++ instructions like those in the file: xmpmc.c ...
So, coming to my question, is there any tutorial which provides enough information and examples so that I can start interfacing the SDRAMs with an FPGA?
