Board Options busted?

It's been a few months since I last loged in. Seems that some changes have been made to the forum. I used to be able to mark a board All Read but now all I can do is subscribe to a RSS feed.; everything else is grayed out. Have I been banished or is this a new bug (feature)?

Re: Board Options busted?

Still works for me.  I use it all the time.

I use IE9 and Firefox 5 on WinVista.

And my astrology sign is Cancer.

Re: Board Options busted?

Hello obparham,

I have checked your settings and you should still be able to select "Mark all as Read" from the Board Options menu. Please make sure you are using a supported browser IE, Firfox, Chrome, etc. Also ensure that you are still logged into the forums as you will see grayed out menu items if you are no longer logged into the community.

Best,

alexisc

[ Edited ]

Hi alexisc,

Yes, I'm using Firefox 3.6 something and, as you can see,  logged in:

Strangely, when I hit the reply button, to post this, I was asked to log in again!

After I post this, I'll see if anything has changed...

EDIT:  Now it works... I guess forum login is not the same as site login. Like I said, it's been a few months and I do occasionally  suffer from CRS !

Re: Board Options busted?

Maybe an issue with cookies?  Just guessing...

Hi Bruce,

Bob is correct in regards to cookies, we are seeing this with our sign in from the community. Xilinx.com offers SSO but as you found out you still have to select "Sign In" on the User Community Forums for it to take. We have a case open on this. In the meantime please verify you see your username to ensure you are logged into the community.
