In top right corner of your post is a drop-down <options> menu, select EDIT.
You can also select DELETE, if there are no replies to the post.

Summary:
1. Read the manual or user guide. Have you read the manual? Can you find the manual?
2. Search the forums (and search the web) for similar topics.
3. Do not post the same question on multiple forums.
4. Do not post a new topic or question on someone else's thread, start a new thread!
5. Students: Copying code is not the same as learning to design.
6 "It does not work" is not a question which can be answered. Provide useful details (with webpage, datasheet links, please).
7. You are not charged extra fees for comments in your code.
8. I am not paid for forum posts. If I write a good post, then I have been good for nothing.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for your answer!
There seems to be something strange with the forums:
- First, I log in via Ubuntu/Firefox and make a post, I sign off
- Then, I log in via OpenSUSE/Konqueror, and I log in using the same username and password; the system lets me in, but it does NOT recognize me as the author of the post, so when I was looking in the top right corner menu, there was no edit (hence my question)
- From Konqueror, also all the text I wrote didn't show up in the previous two posts (hence they are empty)
- Now I'm back on Ubuntu/Firefox, and it will not let me edit the previous two posts?! Also, it doesn't show me the "accept solution" button by your post as when I was in Konqueror??!
Looks like the server checks both login authentication and combination of browser+IP adress to let you edit posts, would that be correct?
Let's see - hopefully this gets posted now...
Cheers!
EDIT: Well, looks like everything got stabilized now, after making this post - now got all the "accepted solution" buttons, and can edit the previous posts too ... Dunno what happened - glad it is OK now :)

This forum website seems to be constantly under construction, or refinement.
Some weird weird stuff/behaviour pops up every now and then. When it happens, it's time to grab a cup of coffee and do some useful work for a few minutes, and usually the website is behaving a bit more predictably upon your return.
It's still not that bad. I rate wives much more unpredictable than this website. No contest. I wonder if my wife is jealous....

Just a quick note on the weird behavior - I just discovered that I login through secure.xilinx.com (top menu); both lithium.com and xilinx.com are allowed in JavaScript. However, turns out forum may end up separate from this login - the way to check is to see right below the Xilinx logo, once on forums.xilinx.com; then look just below, you should see:
Forum Usage ... ....
Right below that, if its says "Sign in", means you're not logged into the forum yet, so click it - and then it will show your username, etc, and forum will recognize you...
Hope this helps - Cheers!

Sorry you had trouble using the forums on Konqueror, but this is not a supported browser for the Xilinx User Community Forum. Following are the supported/recommended browsers:
- IE 7, 8, 9
- Firefox 3.5, 3.6, 4
- Chrome 9, 10, 11
- Safari 4.0, 5.0
- iPad Safari
As for the sign in experience you are refering too we have an open case about this. Please refer to the following post: http://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Forum-Usage/Board-Opti
Hope this helps.
Best,
alexisc
