Hi everyone,

I am using ISE 10.1. When I try to create a new project, right after I click on the New Project button, I receive this error message:

FATAL_ERROR:StaticFileParsers:StaticAcdRead.c:1059:1.52 - acd file <C:/Xilinx/10.1/ISE/spartan3e/data/spartan3e/acd> has extraneous data<> after valid qualifier <>

It also tells me to open a WebCase with this problem but I would like to try on the forum first, meybe someone could give me an advice. I have used ISE 10.1 before on other PCs without any problems. This is the first time that I see this error.

Couls abyone give me an advice?

The ACD file is a data file that is installed and used by ISE and is never updated.

The error message indicates that the data file is corrupt.

Thats very nice  but since this information is already in the error code how does your comment help resolve the problem???

It should be fixed by reinstalling the tools or by replacing the corrupted ACD file from another install.
