Installation and Licensing

I have a node-locked license for ISE Embedded that is device-locked to the XC6SLX45T (SP605 Dev board). I just upgraded from 12.2 to 13.1 (clean install), but my license does not seem to be working. After doing the "Copy License" in the License Manager, it copies the Xilinx.lic file to C:\.Xilinx, but no licenses appear in the window below.

Hi,

Try to reset the cache in the registry, by entering the following command in to ISE Design Command Prompt GUI (i.e. go to Start -> Programs ->Xilinx ISE Design Suite 13 -> Accessories -> ISE Design Suite Command Prompt): xlicmgr reset.

Also, on Windows OS, delete %HOMEDRIVE%\.Xilinx\license_info.cache (if it exists). See (Xilinx Answer 32848: http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/32848.htm) for possible side effects. Then try and set the XILINXD_LICENSE_FILE environment variable to point to the valid license and try it again. This may resolve the issue.
