Planahead 13.2 missing SHSMP.DLL

Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem running Planahead 13.2. After installing Planahead, things seemed to work okay. I've shut it down and restarted and now it won't run saying that it is missing shsmp.dll.

I later found out that I had to change the shortcut to call out the 64 bit version. After I added -m64, Planahead 64 bit ran normally. Until I shut it down and restarted it. Now it's saying shsmp64.dll is missing.

I've confirmed that both dlls are in their respective folders. Does anyone have any ideas how to get Planahead to recognize them?

Okay, that was strange. I tried going back to PlanAhead 32-bit and now I can't reproduce this using either version.

hi,

its because ur missing .dll file, it happens often, u pls copy and paste ur .dll file from a full installation m/c which is working fine or contact ur local vendor and tell them to mail u the following .dll file.

Thank you for your replay. The dlls are both present in the correct directories so I'm not sure what else to do. This issue has come up with the 64-bit version again but fortunately the 32-bit version seems to work.

Dear Scott,

while creating the license of ur ISE what version OPERATING SYSTEM did u select(32 or 64)?

I went back and checked the licensing site and it looks like it's 32-bit. Would that block me from using the 64-bit version? The strange thing is that the 64-bit version worked the first time I used it. After I rebooted my computer, it started giving me the error.

I finally got to the bottom of this. If I launch PlanAhead from the start menu, it's fine. If I then pin it to the task bar (Windows 7) and relaunch it, then it gives the error.
