Hi,

I work on XUP Virtex 2 Pro Board. I use Win Vista Home Premium. I installed ISE 10.1 but cannot configure the device, since it does not install drivers. But the same program works on Win XP fine. Do you have any suggestion that how I can find suitable drivers?

Version 10 does not work with Vista, go back to a supported OS.

Do you mean that the cable drivers are not supported by Vista?

Because I installed ISE 10.1. I can run ISE, Impact, etc.

If not, which version works fine?

I know it must be upper version from 9.1.

Vista is unsupported.  I have no idea what works, and what does not work.

The key question -- cable drivers or "FPGA drivers" ?

I would rather look at board's page and tried to figure out, whether
the warning is definitive.

Looking at /opt/Xilinx/11.1/ISE/qvirtex2p/ makes me feel 
it that the support for this device has been abandoned, which
is really sad, given how popular are those boards.

I have already known that ISE 11.1 does not support it. I work on ISE 10.1 and now it works fine.
