Hi,
We want to evaluate PCIe IP core developed by us by connecting to a standard PC. But when it was connected, the BIOS showed PCI initialization error and the PCIe Device was not detected by the OS.
What are the things BIOS doing during POST for PCIe?
If we know what is BIOS doing, we can debug our core.

Are you using one of the Xilinx PCIe cores? If so, the best place to start will be to check whether the link training completed successfully or not. Have a look at http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/42368.htm
Make sure the UCF is correct and the reset is not asserted unintentionally.
