When using the Xilinx Core Generator I Cant set the speed grade for a XC5VLC110T.Why is that? Is there any solution yet?

The Xilinx ISE version I am using is 10.1.03

Do you mean XC5VLX110T?  I have no problems setting speed grade for that.  XC5VLC110T doesn't match any

known part numbers.

Yes indeed, It should be XC5VLX110T, Sorry.

Are you also using 10.1.03? I already tried to use an other package, but that didn't help.

I'm using 10.1.03 under Windows XP, sp2.  Under Coregen help --> about I see:

Release Version 10.1.03 (nt)

Application Version K.39

. . .

Updates Installed:

ISE 10.1 IP Update 1

ISE 10.1 IP Update 2

ISE 10.1 IP Update 3

Under Project Options I have:

Family: Virtex 5

Device: XC5VLX110T

Package: ff1136

Speed Grade: -1

I can change the speed grade to -2 or -3 with no problems.

I don't have the any of the service packs installed, so I will tried that first, when I am back at the campus.

Also, I have to point out that there is no speedgrade visible in the dropdown box. So it is imposable to select one. I have tried other devices, but they are ok.

When trying to generate a core, the generator gives this error: "ERROR:sim - Invalid command: SET speedgrade ="

Apparently the XC5VLX110T is not supported by the webpack. So I needed a full version.
