I want to use ISE13.3 or ISE12.3 generates target PROM/ACE file for spartan6 xc6slx75t, It can do successfully, but the PROM/ACE file (the size is about 2.33MB. My program is only 50 lines)is much bigger than when I change it to spartan3, the size of file is only 278KB.
The size of a FPGA bitstream.is based on the FPGA device and not by the FPGA design that is implemented in the design.
What you are seeing is normal. if you were to choose a Spartan-6 LX9 it would smaller than the LX75T.
