Hello All,
I have written two codes, both for the same functionality. But the newer one is different than the older, in that one of the modules has been modified and an other module has been removed. The newer code is written so that it consumes lesser area compared to the older code. The maximum frequency that can be used as visible in the log for the newer code is a little higher than that for the older one.
Can anyone please let me know the reasons for this? And is this better or worse?

Is the frequency comparison from the XST report or the timing report?
