Can data be transferred between two FPGA boards via GPIO?

Hi Guys,

 

I need to connect two FPGA boards via some interface. I'm wondering if i can use GPIO to do data transfer?? Please advice me.

Yes you can.

You can use GPIO for data transformation and I advice you use LVDS which can run to 1.2Gbps on V5.
