Where could I find the documentation explaining the Virtex 5 FPGA internal architecture in detail? For instance, I want to know the GRMs (general routing matrix) internals and the interconnections inside the FPGA. We are working on delay characterization of FPGAs at Rice university and we need detailed information on FPGA internals. We can also sign non-disclose with Xilinx In case, the information is propriatary and non public.

Hi
Wonder if you have some results on the routing delay characterisation?

Hi farinazk,
Do you have our ISE tools? FPGA editor may be helpful here as you can see all the internal routing and connections inside the FPGA. It isn't a very easy tool to use however as it is meant for advanced users.
