Hi,

in some docments for example XAPP860 the bit error rate tester (BERT) is mentioned. It's also stated that it's available for download. But I can't find it anywhere. Where can I get it ?

if you read the XAPP to the end, you find:

The files for this reference design can be found at:

This should include the BERT-Testbench.

Hi Eilert,

Thank's for answering. The XAPP reference design only contains the verilog/vhdl files for the described "interface" design. The BERT stuff and also a GUI for BERT is missing in that package.

The XAPP includes the sentence: "To evaluate the performance of this DDR interface in hardware, a separate bit error rate tester (BERT) is also available for download." Which sound to my as there is a seperate download.

Any Idea where to find it / Or am I wrong ?

In that case you should contact someone at Xilinx or an application engineer of your local distributor.
