Hello group,
I am trying to learn how to have a spartan3E communicate with a PC. I understand this is doable via RS232 and tera term console but my goal is to send some data (i.e a string of 00001111) and receive it on PC end and also leanr how to send data from PC to Sparan board... however, I need somebody to give me some hint. Just show me a direction where I have to start and what to read.
Thank you in advance.
Amit

The ISE In-Depth Tutorial targets the Spartan-3 boards and may provide a very basic introduction to using the Spartan-3 FPGA: http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_man

I would also recommend reviewing the designs for the S3ESK:
