Xilinx Boards and Kits

Hello,

I installed Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx and I would use it for the Virtex 6 GTX simulation.

I also installed Xilinx ISE Design Suite 13.4.

My starting point was this document UG376 (Virtex-6 FPGA GTX Transciever Signal Integrity Simulation Kit), where I'm asked to install the GTX Transciever SIS Kit software from a .zip file.

Where can I get such software? Sorry if this questions sounds naive, but I'm just starting up with this.

If you click "downloads" at the top of xilinx.com, or even this forums page.  Then the  "device models" tab, and select IBIS-AMI, you should see the downloads you are looking for I believe.

now I see where to get the software.

Anyhow, the only IBIS-AMI software for VIRTEX-6 in there, it's about the use of HSPICE as described  in

ug375.pdf.

I can't really find the GTX simulation kit for hyperlynx as described in ug376.

Anyone had pursue a similar task (Virtex-6 GTX signal integrity simulation with hypelynx)

from which I could get some hints?

Have you had any luck finding this info?  I am also looking for the GTX SIS Kit for Hyperlynx, but have had no luck finding it.  The user guide talks about it, but I can't find it on the Xilinx support site.

Hello Eduards,

the 7-Series simulation models are provided in IBIS-AMI 5.0 format.

You do not need a HL dedicated kit and HL can use the model available for Version 13.4.

Version 14.1 has not the model available yet. Please make sure to set Version 13.4 in the Xilinx download page.

I checked too, there is no V6 GTX for HL dedicated kit available on the Xilinx website. Please give me 1 day to answer you precisely. I need to check if the old HL kit is still supported, and if yes, why it is not public.
