Input pins on Spartan 3E starter kit

I am new to Spartan 3E Starter Kit. I want to provide an external input to the FPGA. Which pins/port should I connect to? The input signal is a high frequency digital signal (5 MHz).

Note that the SMA (C9) is already being used and hence not available.

Re: Input pins on Spartan 3E starter kit

If it will be used as clock, use a GCLK pin. If the signal has a fast edge rate and you are concerned about signal integrity, consider using the high speed Hirose connecror.

Where are these pins located? I cant find any GCLK as well as any Hirose connector pins.

The Hirose connector is J3. See page 115 of UG230. For details of the functions of each pin, including a list of GCLK pins, see table 15-2 on page 119.
