Hello,
I have implemented a project in the SPARTAN 3E DSP 3400A KIT, which is working good, the project consist of UART which takes the 128bit input from the hyper terminal and process it and send it back the data and displays the output in the hyper terminal. When I switch my project to SPARTAN 6 ML605 kit, with necessary changes in the UCF file, my project is not working, it’s not taking the input and its displaying a junk value in the hyper terminal. What would be the problem and how to debug the problem?
Regards
Manoj B

Manoj B,
The ML605 is a Virtex-6 kit, not a Spartan-6 Kit. Do you have the SP605 (Spartan-6) or the ML605 (Virtex-6)?

manoj b,
Does the Sp605 support what you wish to do with your design? Just changing the UCF file would change the targeted device, however does the Sp605 have the funcationality you need?
Can you run the SP605 BIST design to make sure there is not an interface issue on the board you have?
