Spartan 3E Starter Kit Tutorials

I recentyl purchased a Spartan 3E Starter Kit.  I am looking for some step by step tutorials on how to get even a simple design working.  I am totally new to FPGAs and ISE, and the EDK.  I have done searches and cannot seem to find the basic tutorial for this board.  Maybe I am missing them, but have not ha any luck.

You can find the Spartan-3E Starter Kit Reference Designs on this page: http://www.xilinx.com/products/boards/s3estarter/reference_designs.htm

These are ready-made reference designs for this board (in the .zip files), together with PDF files that outline the steps to follow to get the design working.  This should allow you to get some simple designs working on your board.

You could also consider Pong Chu's FPGA Prototyping With Verilog Examples (or the VHDL variant with a similar name) as it contains tutorials and is aimed at your development board.
