Cora z7-10 SD card boot

I'm trying to make my cora z7-10 run a .bin file when booting up, but haven't been able to. I use a 8GB kingston micro sd. When using "program target" in vivado my .bin files work as they should, but it's still volatile as when I press the srst button on the board, or unconnect then reconnect the power it doesn't run the code on boot up.

Some one suggested I format the sd to FAT32 then load the .bin as "boot.bin" on the SD directly, which didn't work.

I tried to check wether the SD is suported by vivado, but I couldn't find any of the information about my SD to refrence the information xilinx offers.

Re: Cora z7-10 SD card boot

I suggest to take a look at AR# 59476.

read REBOOT_STATUS and BOOT_MODE registers after the boot failure.

Don’t forget to reply, kudo, and accept as solution.
