MPSoC SD Card Boot Baremetal

Jump to solution

I am trying to run a hello world application on a custom board. I am able to do this through the JTAG interface. I then go to creating a boot.bin for sd card boot. It stops during the FSBL when it tries opening the Boot.bin. I have created a FSBL template and incorporated the FSBL_DEBUG_INFO to where I receive the output in the picture.

This board is from Hi-Tech Global - HTG-ZRF8 - and we also have the HTG-ZRF16 which can boot perfectly fine with the same boot.bin. Any idea why this sd card boot will not get through the FSBL?

The board that I am working with required a specific SD card to allow it to boot from SD mode (ZRF8), even though the ZRF16 could boot from any of the cards we tried.
