Changing cach-directory

Hello!

Is there a possibility to change the cach-directory? Since my Windows-Profile-Storage is limited, I constantly get warnings ...

C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Xilinx\Sysgen\nt\cache5

Best regards,

Julius

Re: Changing cach-directory

Yes.

There is an xlCache command documented in the System Generator for DSP Refernce Guide.

Also, there is information on how to change the core Caching in the System Generator for DSP  User Guide.

Just search for cache, and you should able to find the information on the CORE Cache settings.

Re: Changing cach-directory

I'm sorry, but I can't find an option to set the sg-path. There are only commands to get the path or to clear the generated files...

[core, sg, usertemp] = xlCache ('getpath')
xlCache ('clearall')
xlCache ('clearcorecache')
xlCache ('cleardiskcache')
xlCache ('cleartargetcache')
xlCache ('clearusertemp')
[maxsize] = xlCache ('getdiskcachesize')
[maxentries] = xlCache ('getdiskcacheentries')

SYSGEN_CACHE_SIZE, SYSGEN_CACHE_ENTRIES are variables to change the maximum amount of disk space the cache should use or to limit the number of entries.

Best,
Julius

Re: Changing cach-directory

DSP_CACHE_DIR is just for Simulation cache.

How can I change the core cache dir?

SGCORECACHE doesn't work anymore, I believe it worked until ISE10 or 11, that user guide is too old.
