Encountered error when adding hardware co-simulation block: Not enough input arguments.

Hi,

I am using a customized board with Virtex 6 FPGA. The board file is attached here with which was generated using Hardware cosimulation-> New target compilation.

now, I run the Hardware co simulation for my System generator design. At the end, the following message is showing.

:

Encountered error when adding hardware co-simulation block:

Not enough input arguments.

What can be the reasons. Kindly suggest.

My actual Xflow details are also attaching here with

Re: Encountered error when adding hardware co-simulation block: Not enough input arguments.

Hi

What is the matlab version,OS and ISE version  you are using.

Do you have any NMM ports in your model for the HW cosim block and are they constrained properly.

If you try the same model with any of the available boards,does the generation finish with out any errors.

Can you attach you model where this issue is seen.

Regards,

Satish

Re: Encountered error when adding hardware co-simulation block: Not enough input arguments.

Hi,

I am facing this with my customized board only. There is no problem with other predefined target boards.

Even for simple models also, I am facing the problem with customized board only.

My OS is Windows XP (even I tried on other PC which have the OS Windows 7);

Matlab is 7.6 (R2008a) and ISE 14.6;

Regarding the NMM ports, I didn't mention anything. Pl specify what I have to give under this.

Re: Encountered error when adding hardware co-simulation block: Not enough input arguments.

Hi

May be it is due to compatibility issue of the tools or with the flow you are following.

Can you try with supported tool versions mentioned in the AR below

Also also upload the model and steps you are following with your board settings, so that we check this at our end give you further suggestions.
