Explicit period as process time in XSG and MCode vs.blocks aspect
Hi everyone! Three simple questions.
I have a signal from the input analog channel sampled at 250ns. This signal is the input of an MCode block where I handle it. I want the MCode outputs to be at 50us.
Is it correct to use "Explicit period" parameter at 50e-6 to get what I want? Basically, I see the MCode block as having a "sample & hold" in it.
Will be this "Explicit period" then transferred into the built application or it is just a "simulation" parameter? I think the answer is the first...just to be sure.
I wondered the difference between MCode vs library blocks implementation for the same job. Is there a resources difference utilization? And what about compiling time? Can someone tell me more about this aspect?
