Math Execution Times: DSP Processor and Embedded ARM Processor

Hello, many of today's high-end DSP's can do single cycle math and have specialized ALUs. Does the embedded ARMs found on Xilinx FPGAs also have dedicated math structures?

I would look at the specs for the particular ARM core associated with your device. That being said, I think they are 'standard' for those families, so nothing 'special' to add extra 'math structures'. There should indeed be 'some' math that should be single cycle capable.

Hello, would you happend to know where I can find that on the Xilinx web site? I should have said Xilinx embedded ARM cores.

Which specific ARM core are you interested in? (There are several different cores supported on different hardware)

The ones on the Zinq Ultrascale ZCU104.
