Simulating file operations in Versal AI HW Emulation mode

Jump to solution

Is there a way to simulate file operations in HW Emulation mode?  For example, my host program reads and writes a file.  Is there a way to 1) create a file for the program to read, and 2) look at a file that the program creates and writes in HW Emulation mode?  The program is running on linux.

HI @wlao

This should be possible. You can create a file on your host machine, add it to the linux image for the PS application to read it (use the v++ package option).

I am not sure how you can get the file back to the host machine but if you look at QEMU documentation/resources I am quite sure there is a (or multiple) way
