System Generator DDS Compiler 6.0 gives "Fatal Internal Error" when run in Simulink

Dear forum users,

I'm trying to use DDS Compiler 6.0 in a System Generator 2015.1 model but it's causing propagated errors when I run the model. I've now ripped everything else out of the model except the DDS Compiler ... and its still giving me problems, this time a "Fatal Internal Error" which the log file suggests should be reported to Xilinx. Sadly, Xilinx doesn't seem to allow me to create a new support case as my target FPGA is only a series 7 (shame on Xilinx!).

So what can I do about a "Fatal Internal Error" with no help from Xilinx?

Any suggestions on how to fix this are welcome.

Kind regards

Paul

Error 0001:

Reported by:
'Sysgen_DDS_failure/Complex Sinewave/DDS Compiler 6.0 '

Details:
An internal error occurred in the Xilinx Blockset Library.

Please report this error to Xilinx (http://support.xilinx.com),
in as much detail as possible. You may also find immediate help
in the Answers Database and other online resources at http://support.xilinx.com.

Since it is possible that this internal error resulted from an
unhandled usage error in your design, we advise you to carefully
check the usage of the block reporting the internal error. If
errors persist, we recommend that you restart MATLAB.
Error occurred during "Simulation Initialization".

your best bet is to upgrade to a newer version of Vivado.   It's very likely this has been fixed in newer versions.

Don't forget to close a thread when possible by accepting a post as a solution.
