"Real-time" hardware cosimulation

Hi,

I am looking for a method to talk to matlab simulink and implement a "real-time" control algorithm on zedboard via system generator.

For this purpose, I would like to know if I need to have "HDL Verifier" installed or there are other ways to communicate with matlab without having this add_on.

Any suggestions or links to tutorials for "REAL TIME" cosimulation with no vhdl verifier is highly appreciated.

@sryzdn

Please take a look at chapter 5 (Using Hardware Co-simulation)of https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2018_1/ug897-vivado-sysgen-user.pdf

I'm not aware of HDL verifier is needed but you need to create a board file for Zedboard, and then run JTAG Hardware Cosimulation.
