sine wave

2020-08-28 (2).png

Hello, does anyone have the same problem with this sine wave xilinx block that the output frequency doubles? There's always this double effect whatever the parameters are. Is it normal?

Thanks.

The problem might be radians being selected for frequency input.

The output of the Sine Wave block is determined by this equation:

y = sin (2π(k+o)/p)

where

p = number of time samples per sine wave period

k = repeating integer value that ranges from 0 to p-1

o = offset (phase shift) of the signal

Hope it helps.
