The Vitis™ integrated AI Development environment is Xilinx’s development platform for AI inference on Xilinx hardware platforms consisting of optimized IP tools, models, and example designs.
Vitis Unified Software Platform
Designed with high efficiency and ease of use in mind, it unleashes the full potential of AI accelerations on Xilinx FPGA and Adaptive Compute Acceleration Platforms (ACAPs). To understand better how to get started with Deep Learning, Doulos, in conjunction with Xilinx, has organized a one-day on-line training workshop for embedded engineers.
About the Doulos Deep Learning Online Workshop
Doulos Embedded KnowHow Event 2020
Deep Learning (DL) explores algorithms that can learn from and make predictions using data sets. These algorithms prove effective in many existing applications such as object detection, object recognition, speech recognition, and text analysis. New applications and new success stories seem to emerge daily, from smart homes to autonomous vehicles, from defense systems to medical diagnosis. Deep learning impacts engineers in several ways: the kinds of products we design, how we design those products, and how we support customers.
This workshop will:
Help you to understand exactly what deep learning is, how deep learning differs from other approaches to machine learning, and how to choose the right approach for your particular problem. This workshop will help you cut through the fog that sometimes surrounds deep learning discussions by taking a no-nonsense look at the technical heart of the matter: what deep learning really is and what it is good for.
Teach the technical jargon, the main concepts you need to get started, and will give you an understanding of the elements that make up current neural network architectures and what makes them successful. The main topics include the distinction between machine learning and deep learning, basic machine learning algorithms for regression and classification, and the training and deployment of neural network models. Additionally, the workshop covers an overview of the ecosystem including common deep learning software libraries and frameworks, and how to get started with deep learning using standard pre-trained models and transfer learning.
