Fixing this other issue fixed this.
Thanks for your help.

PS: I find terribly annoying that Vitis doesn-t install itself all that it needs, and that I need to patch it and cuddle it at every step.

Hi @benedetto73

Looks like the platform is either not installed in Vitis or there is no target platform loaded onto the FPGA.

You said in a previous post that the 2019.1 target platform was not recognized by Vitis, have you tried the 2019.2 target platform now that you have the u280 installed on your system?

Regards,

M

Thanks @mcertosi for helping me.

Does the command below clarify that the "platform" is installed on both FPGA and the system?

betto@mfgs2:~$ sudo /opt/xilinx/xrt/bin/xbmgmt flash --scan
Card [0000:01:00.0]
Card type: u280
Flash type: SPI
Flashable partition running on FPGA:
xilinx_u280_xdma_201920_1,[ID=0x000000005da8da6e],[SC=4.2.0]
Flashable partitions installed in system:
xilinx_u280_xdma_201920_1,[ID=0x000000005da8da6e],[SC=4.3.4]

 Hi @benedetto73

Yes, it looks like the Alveo Card is ready.

How did you program the card? What commands did you use?

What project did you build?

How did you tell Vitis to compile for a u280?

Regards,

M
