Restoring to golden shell

Hi,

After programming a card with a vivado design flow, how do I restore the card to the golden image with the u50 shell to switch back to the Vitis flow ?

Here's an excerpt from an answer record still pushing through the approval process for publication. 

Alveo Data Center Accelerator Card revert from Custom MCS to Golden / Alveo Platform via Micro USB - JTAG connection and Vivado Hardware Manager

Required Tool: Xilinx Vivado Hardware Manager installed on a system with USB connectivity available to the Alveo Data Center Accelerator Card.

Additional guidance is available in (UG908) - Vivado Programming and Debugging.

1. Install an Alveo platform on your server
2. Locate and copy locally the corresponding MCS file from /lib/firmware/xilinx/<Platform_name>.mcs
3. Connect to the card via Vivado Hardware Manager (Connect to the Hardware Target) using the provided USB cable via Micro USB port on the card.   
4. Select "Add a Configuration Memory Device" on the Card Hardware Target
5. Select the mt25qu01g-spi-x1_x2_x4  part
6. Select "Program the Configuration Memory Device" on the target.   
1. Select the MCS file provided in this Answer for the "Configuration File"
2. Select the Address Range of "Configuration File Only"
3. Select OK
7. After this operation has completed, disconnect the card in Hardware Manager, and disconnect the USB Cable from the Alveo Data Center Acceleration Card.
8. Perform a cold reboot on the host machine.
9. The Alveo Data Center Accelerator Card should now appear as described in (UG1301) - Getting Stared Guide for Alveo Data Center Accelerator Cards.
