Hi!

Nowdays I am working with alveo U250.

So I am working with "Getting Started with Alveo Data Center Accelerator Cards " document.

I think I did everything that document tell me.

2. sudo apt install ./xilinx-u250-xdma-201830.2-2580015_18.04.deb

3. sudo /opt/xilinx/xrt/bin/xbmgmt flash --scan

I think everything is okay. (xrt, device)

but when I ran this command, I got this message.

Can you please post output of "dmesg" and "xbutil query"?

Thanks Ivank33.

I figured out this problem with this command.

@eng_karim

If you are encountering the same error - it means that for some reason the xclmgmt driver is not loaded correctly.  Please use the following commands to reload the driver (alternatively a warm reboot should do the trick):

rmmod xclmgmt

modprobe xclmgmt

Don’t forget to reply, kudo, and accept as solution.

We are having this same issue with "board not found". But it happens whenever there is a power outage to the PC. The past few times we've been able to fix it temporarily until there is another power outage and then it happens again. Is there a more permanent solution?

Hi @cceev ,

Is the temporary fix to rmmod/modprove the xrt drivers? If not, could you please post a new topic so we dont derail this one, and we can help you there?

Best,

-Emery
