xbutil validate fails after U280 first flashing

Jump to solution

After first Alveo U280 flashing (see here for trouble doing that), the "xbutil validate" fails.

Is it something I should care about?
What can I do?

Hi @benedetto73

It looks like you may potentially be running into the issue described at this answer:

https://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/73055.html

Please follow the directions found there to ensure you have the correct pyopencl versions installed.  Please note that you may need to do a warm reboot after getting the Hardware Platform re-installed, and/or manually attach the drivers as described here:

Hi @benedetto73

This looks like the issue described in AR# 73055

Can you try the instructions in that link?

Thanks,

M
