You have undoubtedly noticed a marked increase in the spam attacks against the Xilinx Forums from various sources. I wanted to reassure our users that we are working hard to increase the transparent, automatic filtering of these posts, without negatively impacting your experience.
These types of attacks generally ebb and flow; we successfully auto-block hundreds of spam posts every month with an exceptionally low false-positive rate, and we're working on the best method to add these latest posts to our filters.
On behalf of the entire moderation team, and Xilinx Forum Admins: we appreciate your patience and your reporting of spam messages during this time.

I just wanted to follow-up on Rob's post, by first echoing his thanks for all the support we've received from our community members to help combat this recent onset of spam, and second to let you know the actions we are taking to stop and prevent this from happening in the future.
We truly appreciate your patience as we continue to work on and resolve this issue. We ask that if you do see spam, to please go to Options and Mark As Spam.

I just wanted to provide a quick update on the recent spam attacks. They are still on-going (as recent as Friday night), although they have slowed down considerably due to the following actions taken.
We are still in progress on implementing CAPTCHA per rank.
Again, we truly appreciate your patience as we continue to work on and resolve this issue. We ask that if you do see spam, to please go to "Options" > "Mark As Spam".
