re-edit doesn't work this morning

Jump to solution

I posted, then edited the post.  Then tried to edit the post one more time, and the 'edit message' function did not work (it brought browser to the top of the thread).  Verified this on other threads, same behaviour.

Mozilla 5.01, Windows Vista x64

Summary:
1. Read the manual or user guide. Have you read the manual? Can you find the manual?
2. Search the forums (and search the web) for similar topics.
3. Do not post the same question on multiple forums.
4. Do not post a new topic or question on someone else's thread, start a new thread!
5. Students: Copying code is not the same as learning to design.
6 "It does not work" is not a question which can be answered. Provide useful details (with webpage, datasheet links, please).
7. You are not charged extra fees for comments in your code.
8. I am not paid for forum posts. If I write a good post, then I have been good for nothing.

Hi Bob,

Are you still experiencing this issue? I have tested in Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, and Chrome and have been able to edit without any limitations.

Best,

Alexis

Yup, you get one 'edit message' try, and no more.  I hope this gets fixed or restored soon.

UPDATE:  now some posts can be re-edited, and some cannot.  Time for a break from the forums and see if the website settles down.

I fixed it myself by taking a day off from the forum!  That was enough to heal the problem, apparently.

Looks as good as it was yesterday, alexis.
