FFT and its test bench (9.0)

Jump to solution

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to implement the FFT IP 9.0 Core. I basically just want to input a noisy input signal from the time domain and view the output in the frequency domain.

Does the user have to add stimuli to the testbench or is there any other ways of confirming the functionality? From what I have seen when searching for similar subjects the stimuli is already given. Am I doing something wrong?

The answer was simple, I didn't set the TB as the top module. Once that was done, the signals worked properly.

Are you using the provided test bench ?

have you marked it as the test bench,

you don't seem to have aclk toggling,

have you just not run the deigns long enough ?
