CORE generator and device primitives

Hi everybody.

My question is how to know if CORE generator uses device primitive or if it uses FPGA resources, for example, to build RAMs ?

It depends on the settings you give t. For instance, yoou can tell the FIFO Generator to use "Distributed RAM" if you so wish.

Try some of you candidate IP blocks and read the reoprt files...
