Core Container (xcix) and revision control repository size

If an XCIX file is just a zipped version of the previous multi-file hierarchy, there should be a significant impact on repo size since every commit will be an entire new copy of the file.  Wouldn't the previous XCI oriennted directory hierarchy with a significant qty of ASCII files help reduce the drive space burden on the repo (and perhaps default size limits of gitlab for example)?

Re: Core Container (xcix) and revision control repository size

Hi @corydearing

I guess this is always the tradeoff between people who want to commit everything and might complain when there is too many files or people who want to optimize the repo.

Anyway, you should always have the option to keep core container disabled and keep working with the xci file.
